Thurs 28 Sept This is the 3rd visit to Exeter from Mike Watt, a founding member of seminal California punk band the Minutemen.His incredible career has also included one of my favourite bands fIREHOSE and legendary Detroit rockers the Stooges. In between jazz innuendos, post-rockish soundscapes blown by a dry desert wind and good old rock'n'roll, their show is at the same time a celebration of technical mastery and of the pure, unadulterated joy of making music together.
